Dreams between us

Final day of 2008 and how fast it has gone. Even with the added leap-day AND leap-second :) On the whole, despite some low points in the middle of the year, it's been a pretty good year for me personally. I’ve lived in both my ‘home-countries’, I’ve experienced many new things and learned a lot about myself along the way. But most of all, 2008 has been my year of friendships. Of making new friends and of spending quality time with those I don’t get to see all that often because of the usually big distances between us. Of building on or rediscovering ‘old’ friendships and realising how much they actually mean to me. So to finish the year I’d like to leave you with a song I wrote almost 4 years ago by now – mostly on Philip Island actually – which to me is about friends and sharing life and getting lost in the moment together because you’re too busy having a good time. Let’s hope 2009 will be another beautiful year :)
