The deal with the EU-Oz project

Hey everybody
Just a really quick message here, as I'm heaps busy with uni at the moment coz it's end of term next week, but this is to let everyone know what the deal is with the EU-Oz project I told you about last time... I got through the first round, which I was heaps excited about as you can expect!! Hadn't thought I would, being up against all these International Relations students, so I couldn't have been happier that day when I heard I got through :) So I was invited to an interview, which I had yesterday... Didn't go as well as I'd hoped or expected it to go, some questions took me by surprise so I felt like I had screwed it up a bit and I was quite disappointed and a bit frustrated about it yesterday. Am sure I could have done a lot better if I could have kept my nerves down and not be taken by surprise so much... But I didn't, and now I just got the results back from the second selection round and I'm placed second on the reserve list. So if two people of my uni decide to not take the scholarship after all or if the other participating unis can't find enough students to fill their spots, I can still go!! Not quite sure how I feel about that yet, coz it means I'll have to deal with maybes for another month while I'd rather know right now if I can go or not. Definitely not counting on it anymore, but deep down inside I'm still hoping of course :) So there you have it, the deal with the EU-Oz project!! I'll do a proper update on all that's going on in my life at the moment once uni stuff is less crazy and I have more time to fill you in on everything. Love to you all :)

sorry to hear, tho keeping my hopes up that i will get to see you still! im sure u did a fantastic job and 2nd on the reserve list is fantatsic, after all u arent even an international student so u shld be very poud of urself, and how far you you got in the process! congratulations, good luck with uni luv kim xoxox
